T-Mobile Garminfone

T-Mobile will release its first Android powered smartphone named Garminfone. The name came from the partnership between PC maker Asustek and navigation device maker Garmin. It comes with preloaded maps of North America and a database of about 6 million points of interest, thus providing users a good handle of moving map functionality and up to date entertainment information.

It is equipped with top notch technologies including a large 3.5-inch touch screen display, 3.0-megapixel auto-focus camera with geo-tagging capabilities, high-speed 3G Internet web browser, connectivity to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. With its award-winning Garmin navigation features, users will experience super smart address finding capability and will get voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that speak street names to destinations when found.

By simply saying "Where am I?", it will display the current address and nearest police, hospital and fuel services for your maximum safety.
