I get emails all the time asking what I think is the best prepaid cellular phone plan and device. There is no way to say that one plan and phone is the best for everyone, but in my opinion, for those who use 500 minutes a month and want a cheap prepaid phone that they don’t have to worry about, there is a duo superior to all the others. As I have said numerous times, there is no one size fits all phone or plan, but there are some great phones / deals / and plans that just work great together.

Best All-around phone & plan: Virgin Mobile Marbl on the  $34.99 talk monthly plan (300 anytime / 1000 Night & Weekend minutes).. Why? The phone is cheap and lasts forever, and at $34.99 the plan is priced right with a generous number of minutes.
