Inspired by water, Sony Ericsson is planning to launch the Xperia Pureness, a see-through phone in coming November.
The joint venture between Japan’s Sony and Sweden’s Ericsson reported that they considered the Pureness as a work of art rather than technology. We can see its transparent screen and hidden keypad which would be revealed only when the device is activated.
It was unveiled at a media event that the handset is the first cell phone to reflect the company’s new "make believe" advertising campaign.
Sony Ericsson didn’t make any detailed comments on the Pureness, but said that it would be released worldwide in few selected cities in November.
Sony Ericsson has been struggling to compete with the rising popularity of smartphones such as Apple’s iPhone and Research in Motion’s BlackBerry.
On Wednesday, the company announced the Xperia X2, a new Windows Mobile 6.5 device that can show frequently used phone activities, missed incoming activity, emails and text messages.

Verizon is preparing the launch of the new BlackBerry Storm 2 in the next couple of months, thus has cut the price on some BlackBerry models, clearing out the inventory.
They have dropped the price of BlackBerry Storm aggressively from $100 to $50. BlackBerry Storm was one of Verizon’s flagship phone and competitor to the iPhone. Also price cut was including the Pearl Flip from $80 to $40 and the Tour from $200 to $150.
This huge price cut and sale will help clear the way for new Storm 2 which is scheduled to be release sometime in October.
Even though RIM only confirmed that it would be working on the Storm 2, there is no definitive release date, price or specifications.
The Storm 2 was reported to have Wi-Fi addition and an improved SurePress typing system.

With T-Mobile ToGo Prepaid Cell Phone, you don’t have to pay monthly payment. Instead you only need to pay for refills online or buying a minute card at your local retails store. Also you can buy a starter kit that has all you need, such as phone, accessories and starting minutes when sign up. Of course, the basic call features are already included.
On the other hand, calls can be expensive when you purchase the lower denomination refill cards.
For example, 10 dollar refill card will cost 33 cents per minutes, and minutes will expire quickly.
There is no credit check, and no initial contract upfront either. With all plans except the Sidekick plan, text messaging costs 10 cents to send and 5 cents to receive. Picture messaging is also available at 25 cents per message.
T-Mobile offers prepaid Sidekick data plans for $1 per day. There seems to be no other web access for any other device for a lesser cost. Nokia and Samsung phones are popular with this service.

I’d like to post updates on tracfone promotional codes.
There has been few codes that dropped off the list, including 62498, 53994, 51578, and 57122. These codes are now set to be expired, but left in with the valid codes as they have worked very recently.
Here are lists of new codes:
17236 for 40 bonus minutes on a 200-minute card
51540 for 50 bonus minutes on a Double Minute for Life card
99121 for 250 bonus minutes on a double minute, 800-minute, one-year card
So please try these out and put your comments.
Another tracfone code is kind of mixed result. Code 27076 had previously offered 50 bonus minutes on a card of 60 minutes or greater. I’ve heard some said it was expired, while others say it’s still working. If you happen to try that code, please post your experience.
