The future of prepaid

Where do you see prepaid going in the future?

I expect that future prepaid companies will have a high focus on communications such as video chat, text messaging, and connectivity options beyond voice. The majority of prepaid users are younger and on the edge of technology, so such features would be highly attractive to them. The fact is, though, that we won't see anything like peer to peer video chat until it's popularized on mainstream providers. If you look at japan, voice chat is already rather popular.

One of the coolest features I've seen, although not new, is business card readers. With the biz card reader, you take a picture of a business card and it automatically detects the name, phone number, fax, address, etc and puts it into the phone.
