No joke I used to work for V.M. at a call center and you could give up to 10 dollars to get you to shut up and get off the phone. I would often just give sum one 2$ - 5$ all day long just to make them happy and hang up. the CSR can not hang up until you are happy. So make up a sad story and call them and don't shut up but don't use obscene language ( they can hang up on you for that and not get in trouble!!!) also you can only do this 2-3 time they will catch on.

Very true.
In special cases, supervisors can give $30, and although they say no refunds for plans are possible, if you stay calm and talk with a rep long enough and get their supervisor, they can refund even the $90 plan if you didn't use many minutes. The reps are told what to say they can do and can't do, even if they can do what they say they can't do.
